My first week in Paris went very well. Workable office and very nice colleagues, most of all I was really excited to meet her, but all my excitement died I saw HIM. So annoying and arghhhhh. My whole enthusiasm was on the edge and I felt my frustration was about to spill out.

"Honesty, don't you have any respect how to handle a woman?" I held my agitation and said without the acknowledgement that we have language barrier. But he surprised me instead. My jaw hit the floor when I heard him speaking English with a clean faint French accent. "I do know how to respect a woman but I don't know if it is like you, Woman." "Huh! What do you mean?" " I Am Clea---"

 And a soft plum voice bleed through our argument, "How can I help you?" We turned to that voice together. I gasped to see her after so long time. I practically ran to her and hugged her tightly. I asked her, "How are you, mi lady?" She was quite puzzled but she reluctantly hugged me. I pulled back and asked, "How are you?" But what she said next had me fallen from sky and the person next to me smirked. "Do I know you?" My eyes widened. " I am Sloane. I came here last year," I said in one go. But no effects. She gave a puzzled look and and said, "Sorry, I don't recall." I got frustrated but remembered that she has Alzheimer. I regained back to a normal conversation. I said, "Okay fine, you don't have to recall me but remember this incident." I took a glance at the surrounding and finally my eyes found the man beside me and he was goddamn smirking. I look at her again and whispered, "I will come again on the next weekend, okay?" She was still puzzled but she understood that she don't want to lose a customer. So she nodded and said, "Yes please do come again." I gave the woman a sweet look and a death glare at the man who still have the audacity to smirk. I got out of the store and took a last look at the store and started walking away.

Aiden's POV

I saw her walking away from the store. I was captivated by her beauty. How the chocolaty eyes gasped when I grabbed her by the throat. She was literally whimpering under me but a flick of fire in her eyes rose after a few moment. I quickly bid my goodbye to the good book lady. "I promise I will also come here the next weekend." The sweet lady noticed my urgency and smiled. "Okay dear. Go fast or else she will be taken. By the way, she is a beauty goddess." A laugh rumbled in my chest but I gave her a low chuckle. I also got out of the store and looked left- right immediately. She was gone. I slowly ran to the corner of the road and saw her roaming around the narrow road. I walked to her in two long strides. "Hey, are you sure you went to the store without knowing?"

Sloane's POV

I was aimlessly wandering on the road and thinking about some ideas how to make her recall me. But a voice halted all my thoughts. I turned to see that annoying man behind me striding toward me. 

"Excuse me, Leave me alone please," I sighed tiredly. I wasn't in the goofy mood. "Wait, I am not even dying to talk to you," He said that sassily. "Then why are you running to me?" "I just came to give you this." He nodded at his outstretched hand. I looked at his hand and saw my phone. I widened my eyes and checked my purse. "Why do you have my phone?" I asked while snatching back my phone from his hands. "Because it had fallen at the time of our little incident." He raised an eyebrow. I reluctantly said, "Thank you."

I turned and started walking away. To my great surprise, he also started walking behind me. It was normal until I noticed that when I walked, he walked and when I stopped, he stopped. 

"Excuse me? Are you following me?" I huffed and crossed my arms over my chest. "No, why would I?" He said very calmly. "Asshole," I muttered and striding away. But I think I heard him saying, "Adorable."

I finally got him freed from myself and entered in my flat. I scoffed thinking about today's incidents. "How dare he to touch me and grope me all along. And he also followed me. I will sue him if I again see him, Bastard." 

Next Morning

I was greeted by Madison first after entering in the office floor. I was in a bad mood because of that bastard monkey. Madison noticed my grogginess and asked about my being. I told her everything and she was a great listener. "You actually called him Asshole?" She laughed. "Not gonna lie, if I were in your shoes, I would have done the worse." "What?" " I would call him Asshole in front of his face." This time, it was my time to laugh. 

We entered the conference room and saw everyone in a very pensive mood. We took our respective seats. By the time, Madison nudged her elbow toward a sweet looking girl and they whispered for some time. I asked her, "What happened?" "Mr. Romano is back in his position. And he was in a very agitated mood when everyone saw him this morning." 

Suddenly the door of the conference room opened. I feel like the temperature dropped a bit in the conference room. Everyone including stood up, but everything in my lap fell with a thud. I bended over to pick the things up and saw everyone sitting in their place. I didn't have the courage to look the boss in eyes. But still I mustered the courage to look him in the eyes. I looked up and I swear my whole world fell apart when our eyes met with each other. His eyes were stilled in my eyes and my eyes were looking something to hold up. He just smirked and I was ended in the room instantly. The color of my face fell. I felt like dizzy. Madison noticed my uncomfortableness and whispered to me, "Are you okay?" "Yes," I quickly whispered back. 

The meeting seemed like keep dragging on. But the nerves in my body fluttered here and there every time our eyes met.

The meeting finally finished and he exited the room with the panther gaze on me. Madison noticed everything between us and cornered me in the meeting room when everyone left. "Did anything happen in between you and Mr. Romano? I saw the looks you and he had exchanged all the time in the meeting." "NO!!!" I exclaimed. "Nothing happened. Let's go before anyone see us in the room." Madison locked her arms in mine and we went to the place where everyone was. 

"Girl, You got lucky to get a room beside Mr. Romano's room," Madison squeaked. But the nerves went crazy again. I thought to myself, "I am dead if I again see him and this time he will sue me."  

Jus then, He appeared out of his room and motioned me to follow him to his room. When he left, Madison started jumping around and whispered to me, "I am sure he will kiss you and start the conversation. There's definitely something going on between you two." "Shut up," I whisper yelled at her. "Vous serez superbes tous les deux ensemble." "What did you say?" "Nothing," She innocently smiled at me. And again He appeared and grumble, "I haven't got the whole day, Ms. Kensington." 

I looked at Madison and said, "Wish me luck." I started walking toward his room. 

Will Sloane be able to survive the rest of the day?
